With this exercise, I wanted to create a simplified visual depiction of how Bloomberg’s Disaster Recovery Service can help their clients no matter where they may be or what the situation is. By using a simplified color palette and iconography, I wanted to tie in the idea that the service can assist their clients in a smooth and fast manor while also acting as a reminder to the main product which is the Bloomberg Terminal.

In 2020, I collaborated with Peloton on a collection to celebrate Latinx Heritage Month.
I created a brand new work of art that was to be used on different clothing articles to help promote the month. I called the art piece, “Dame tu mano y te voy ayudar. (Give me your hand and I’ll help you). With this piece I wanted to show how there is a sense of unity and willingness to help out others within the immigrant Latinx community no matter what country they may have come from or if they know the person at all.

In October 2021, Bloomberg turned 40. But rather than a celebration of what's been, a company as future-focussed as Bloomberg must take a forward-looking approach to such festivities. We developed a new look and feel to create a series of activations to accompany this milestone.

As Covid restrictions started to lessen and new hires started to work at Bloomberg, Bloomberg wanted to have them come into the office for a day to experience the culture first hand and meet Mike.
For this series of events, I stripped down the branding to represent the most iconic thing Bloomberg has, the Terminal keyboard. The color palette used was a direct inspiration of the colored keys. The keys were also used to make some of the takeaway items such as the pins, tote bags, and hoodie.

Outside of design, I am also a fine artist. My paintings deal with the stories of Latin American immigrants and their children.
The design is based on the line work that flows into each other that create the narratives in my paintings. In many of my painting I include the three spirals that I added over the logotype. They are a representation of a border, the three country borders between El Salvador and here, and myself and my younger sisters as children of immigrants.

After finishing up a brand new look and feel for the Buy-Side business, Bloomberg ran it's annual Buy-Side Forum with the new design. I not only helped with the creation of the the new look but took ownership of designing and creating templates for all things Buy-Side related from collateral to this event.

The FDA’s teen anti-smoking initiative, The Real Cost, wanted to get its audience even more acquainted with their newest character: Little Lungs. He’s an adorable pair of lungs that smoked and never grew to full size.
But, big surprise, teens don’t want to hear anti-smoking messages. So we went straight to the source and put Little Lungs in Robot Unicorn Attack 3.

People know that smoking is bad. They just don't know why. The FDA wanted to change that, so we set out to create a video series showcasing the life cycle of a cigarette and the chemicals it picks up along the way.

Growing up I understood that my parents and other relatives had left their home country of El Salvador during the civil war. Countless stories were told during my upbringing but I never fully comprehended the war itself. This book acts as a portal to the time in which the war happened and their shared experiences. The content within the pages are articles from different U.S. media, U.S. declassified documents, and translated narratives from relatives displayed in a chronological order to show the different perspectives of the war.
